Catherine Zask, French graphic designer, typographer and artist, has been a source of inspiration for me through her experimental  means of looking at type from a different perspective and seeing letters and type forms as more of an image.

Zask created the typeface Alfabetempo through experimental means focusing on the 'decomposition of the times of the tracing of the letters.' I really like this approach to breaking down the letters and creating an experimental typeface.

My craft is completely determined by my desire for words. Words for me always lead to images.
